These afternoons, which will meet on select Sundays from 4:00-5:15 pm in the Parish Conference Center (prior to the 5:30 pm Sunday Mass), encompass and build the foundation of our junior high faith formation program. JHFF Sunday Sessions are for all middle school grades (6-8), and are an opportunity for the youth to enjoy food and fellowship, and to dive deeper into our Catholic faith and the Bible specifically.

The middle school program will be using Ascension Press' Encounter. Encounter is a Catholic Bible, designed specifically for 6th to 8th grades, that uses the color-coded Bible Timeline Learning System to reveal the story of our faith and God’s plan for our lives. This captivating program guides students toward a powerful Encounter with God.

A copy of Encounter will be provided to each youth upon entry into JHFF and youth will be responsible for and expected to bring their copy to each JHFF Sunday Session over the three year duration of the program. If you need to replace your copy of Encounter, you will have to purchase a new one at your own expense. Extra copies will be available to purchase at cost in the parish office.
